Another Great Hockey Weekend!
Submitted By msilk on Wednesday, December 3, 2014
Our Atom Rep Wildcats started the weekend traveling to Collingwood to take on The Blackkawks. It was a hard fought battle but the Blackhawks took the win 2-1.  Jordyn Laughlin had the lone goal.

Next we traveled to an all day tournament in Woodville. Our boys played 3 very close games!!!  First was against Orono. Orono scored first in the 1st period and it took the Cats until the 3rd for Aidan Silk to tie us up.

Then it began ~ The crazy OT. 1min sudden victory periods starting 4on4. The boys all tried so hard right down to 1on1, still no goal. On second 1on1 we finally came out with the win when Brock Muise scored.
Points went to Aidan Silk 1g Brock 1g Jordyn Laughlin 1a Owen Lamoureax 1a.

Our next game saw us against the Home Team Woodville. After 3 hard fought periods there was NO SCORE ~ Back to OT!!  It came down to 2on2 when Woodville scored. Beating us 1-0

To the Finals we went.  Playing against the Home team again. The Cats were looking for revenge!!
We just couldn't get things going and ended up losing 3-1.  Our lone goal went to Owen Lamoureax assisted by Zachary Eaton
Sunday afternoon saw more hockey!!! The Cats traveled to Dundulk to take on the Storm.
The Storm came out scoring first and after the 1st peroid we were down 2-1. Early in the 2nd the Cats tied it up and thats were it stayed going into the 3rd.  5 goals were scored in the 3rd period and 3 were ours!  We came out with the WIN!!!!   Congrats to Jordyn Laughlin on scoring a Hat Trick and Brock Muise had 2.  Assists went to Zachary Eaton, Aidan Aigeldinger, Owen Lamoureax, Ben Simpson and Josh Gray.

And we couldn't have gotten this far without the GREAT Goaltending Skills of Josh Laughlin, he was superb in net again,  for all 5 games!!!!
