2 Exciting Games!!
The Atom Rep Wildcats had 2 very exciting games this past weekend.
First we headed to Angus to take on The Essa Eagles. The Home team came out scoring first but our Wildcats came back and were on top 2-1 at the end of the 1st period. Essa came out hard and scored first in the 2nd period but The Cats came back to tie it up. The score went back and forth and we ended up taking the lead in the 3rd and were able to hold on to it for a 5-4 win!!
Points went to Zachary Eaton 2 goals, Jordyn Laughlin 2 goals, Brock Muise 1 goal and 2 assists, Aidan Silk 3 assists, Josh Gray 1 assist and Johnny Lovering 1 assist.
Next up, a home game against Creemore. Last time we played them we tied so we were looking for a win!!
The Cats started off strong but couldn't find the net and after 1 there was no score. Creemore scored the lone goal in the 2nd. The Cats started the 3rd down 1 but didn't give up and got it back. The tie didn't last long before Creemore came back and scored a quick goal to take the lead. With 10:20 left in the 3rd The Cats scored to tie it up and thats were it stayed ~ another tie!
The Atom Rep team is playing great hockey and it is sure fun to watch, keeps the spectators on the edge our their seats!!!
