Coldwater Wildcats U18 Team 2 showcased exceptional effort ending their season as Champions in the GBTLL Group C series beating Georgian Bay Midland Centennials Team 2!The Wildcats dominated the series, wrapping it up with 2 straight wins.  Saturday’s game in Midland demonstrated Team 2’s dominance; a convincing 5-0 shutout win back-stopped by a stellar performance by goalie Andrew Cleaveley, with the game winning goal scored by Brady Sevelka, a ‘shorty’ scored by Daniel St. Germaine, plus one by Connor Chapman, and two from Quinn Bacchus. 

We’re excited to announce that Dale Martin is the winner of the Ultimate Night Out Raffle! Dale is grandma to one of our players, so congrats to her and her lucky guest. A huge thanks goes out to Jed Stewart and Comet Chemical for generously donating the tickets. To all the families and friends who got involved by buying and selling tickets, your support means a lot—this $5,500 will go directly toward next year’s membership fees! Fundraisers like this are what help us keep minor hockey affordable for everyone in our area. Thanks again to everyone for making this a success!

Saturday April 18th is our official year end awards day for the 2024/25 season. We are asking all U5, U7, U8 players to join us at 10:30am for a celebration of the team accomplishments.  This year we will be convening on the rink surface for our awards day. There will be hot dogs and refreshments for all players and bench staff. We will be then asking that group to leave the arena so we can do a quick clean up.  Then we will reconvene for the U9 to U21 portion of the day at 1pm in the arena. Please submit your nominations as we want your opinions as we appreciate the many different perspectives. We want to acknowledge all our deserving members.  Nominations will be open until March 30th.

Hello Hockey Parents, Guardians, Players and Friends I would like to invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting being held on Wednesday April 15th at 6:30 PM upstairs at the Coldwater Arena. At this meeting we review the financial position of our association, review any changes to minor hockey as proposed by the OMHA and elect new members to our executive. There is an online nomination form to nominate a person to one of the available positions under the Year End tab on the website.
