U13 Wildcats Team 3 (Coldwater Minor Hockey Association)

With goals of informing, educating, and engaging with youth about the history of the residential school system, promoting truth and reconciliation, and promoting physical and mental wellness of indigenous and non-indigenous youth through sport. We are very proud to be hosting an Orange Jersey Project for our U11 team 1 and U13 team 2 in Coldwater.  The players have had access to the portal to learn all about the program prior to our special celebration on Tuesday March the 18th @7:00pm in Coldwater. 

Hello Hockey Parents, Guardians, Players and Friends  I would like to invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting being held on Tuesday April 15th at 6:30 PM upstairs at the Coldwater Arena. At this meeting we review the financial position of our association, review any changes to minor hockey as proposed by the OMHA and elect new members to our executive.  There is an online nomination form to nominate a person to one of the available positions under the Year End tab on the website. This is your opportunity to have your say to how the association is run.

The season is far from over but we do have to prepare a few things ahead...Under the Year end tab on the website find a description of the awards and the tab to nominate people for the awards! Please submit your nominations as we want your opinions as we appreciate the many different perspectives. We want to acknowledge all our deserving members.  Nominations will be open until March 24th. Also, if you could take time to submit your Coach/Bench Staff Evaluations it is greatly appreciated and a good tool when choosing coaches for upcoming seasons.  This is completely confidential but ...

This year we are happy to again present CMHA Scholarships available to any highschool graduate with the following qualifications.  *Be registered for three (3) years within the CMHA in any capacity (player, trainer, coach, official) *Be registered with the CMHA during their application season *Be a registrant in good standing with the CMHA Please see the scholarship tab at the top of the website for full details. All applications will be considered there will be a limited number of scholarships available.

Come on out and cheer on your fellow Wildcats as they compete in round robin play! You will see many games on the schedules in the coming weeks on weekends and weeknights both. The crunch along with the weather rescheduling limits the practices for our teams but the games will be exciting. If you are younger come see the next age groups play and if you are older come reminisce about when you were U11, U13 etc. Go Cats GO!!!
