Coldwater Minor Hockey Association

Braydon started playing hockey in coldwater in 2018 in the bantam division. That year he took home most improved and the Rookie of the year awards. More than that a whole new group of friends both players and adults. The coaches always loved coaching this respectful eager to learn guy who gave 100%. As parents we not only got to know Bray but to love his mom Jenny and aunt Kelly as they never missed a game! Grandparents,  aunts uncles and cousins rounded out the cheering section for Braydon over the years!!

To learn more, visit www.firstshift.ca #FirstShiftHockey Open to all Canadian children between the ages of 6 and 10 years old that have never previously been registered in minor hockey. On-ice sessions with fun drills are always on the same day of the week, same time and same arena. $299 registration fee that includes a full set of BAUER equipment and six on-ice trial sessions.

We would like to share the recipients of the Coldwater Minor Hockey Scholarship for 2025. Through their essays, references and academic endeavors we proudly announce Tristen Awrey, Brody Carpenter and Jakub Coghlin as our recipients. We are very proud of these 3 deserving gentleman that are embarking on careers with skills of teamwork, leadership, dedication and sportsmanship that have been instilled by years of minor hockey.  Take your skills, drive and determination into the future and we will be cheering for you from here!!  Congratulations we are so very proud of you.

Registration is open to all!! We will be waitlisting teams this year to allow for optimal team size and access to ice. We have had a minimal increase in fees to cover our increased ice fees this season.We will still be offering the $100.00 discount for all that register and pay 25% of fees by July 1st. There is a monthly plan to spread payments out over the summer months.
