COLDWATER BANTAM 1 TAKES GOLD IN "A" DIVISION GBTLL
The Bantam 1 team had a fantastic season that ended on home ice with a huge crowd to witness as they took the A Division GBTLL banner! The very well matched team came from Stayner to oppose the Wildcats and make them work for the title. During the regular season these 2 teams matched up with Stayner winning 2 of the 3 games. This playoff series was filled with excitement and anticipation as Coldwater took the first 2 games followed by a tie last week. The crowd was beyond themselves with the great 4 to 1 win!!
The season as a whole has been filled with success which saw the team at the top of the standings for most of the season only to land in third with a few tough games at the end of the regular schedule. They entered the playoffs wary of the skilled Stayner team sitting above them in the points battle.
We started off the tourney season with a win in the Coldwater Classic taking the B division gold. In 2018 we attended 2 away tournaments in Brighton in January and Simcoe during March Break that saw this team dominate bringing home gold in both. Truly a team effort in all ventures as the team played extremely well and cohesively.
Many of these players had played together through the years but a handful were new to the mix this year. Congrats go out to Goalie Camden Matthews, players Aidan Aigeldinger, Cashius Aitken, Jack Brazda, Travis Bell, Josh Gray, Kevin Heckendorn, Scott Henderson, Lane Mattice, Wesley OLeary, Dylan Petroff, Joey Roemer, Caleb Scott, Skylar Smith, Hunter Sisson and Danika Walsh.

This was truly a season of fantastic memories that all will take with them into the future!!!
