CMHA sets a record with Kidney Clothing Fundraiser!!
Submitted By admin on Wed 12 30, 15
All players and families should be very proud of our effort during our recent Minor Hockey Fundraiser.  We collected clothing items for the Kidney Foundation and set a new record for pounds donated.  Approximately 301 bags of clothing was collected, totaling around 5930 pounds!!!!!  These results were staggering, the Kidney Foundation had to make an extra trip to collect the items as the truck wasn’t large enough to carry our total collection!!! Be proud of these results, our little organization now holds the largest donation to the Kidney Foundation for 2015, way to go everyone!!

Here are the team results for bags collected:
Jr IP-5
Tyke #1-12
Tyke #2-15
Novice-10
Atom LL-26
Atom Rep-54
Peewee Rep-29
Peewee #1-44
Peewee#2-106

Peewee #2 dominated this fundraiser, the team officials, players and families should be proud of their efforts.  They will now enjoy a skating and pizza party for the top fundraising team.

As well, I would like to Thank Gillian Eaton for making the posters and cards, the volunteers for unloading vehicles and helping load the Kidney Foundation truck.

Look for our next fundraiser coming up in February, remember these fundraisers help keep our registration costs well below average for our area.  The more families involved the better!!!
