U18 Wildcats Team 2 (Coldwater Minor Hockey Association)

The day was filled with all coaches presenting their various teams with Most Dedicated, Most Improved and Most Team Spirit Awards.  The celebrating was fantastic as the players chanted their friends names!!  Huge thanks to the coaches and bench staff that stepped up in a year where we had more teams than in years past so it called for more help from first time coaches, trainers and managers.  We appreciate you and hope to see you step up again next season!

Thanks to all that joined us Sunday for a day to celebrate our season. A big thank you to the executive for setting up, decorating, serving lunch to all, awards and clean up.  A big job made for light work with so many hands.  The Lions Club came to BBQ up the hot dogs and burgers for us which is always a big treat for us!! Also our many special awards that were voted on by the association members with a huge number of submissions this year.

Hello Hockey Parents, Guardians, Players and Friends  I would like to invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting being held on Tuesday April 15th at 6:30 PM upstairs at the Coldwater Arena. At this meeting we review the financial position of our association, review any changes to minor hockey as proposed by the OMHA and elect new members to our executive.  There is an online nomination form to nominate a person to one of the available positions under the Year End tab on the website. This is your opportunity to have your say to how the association is run.

This year we are happy to again present CMHA Scholarships available to any highschool graduate with the following qualifications.  *Be registered for three (3) years within the CMHA in any capacity (player, trainer, coach, official) *Be registered with the CMHA during their application season *Be a registrant in good standing with the CMHA Please see the scholarship tab at the top of the website for full details. All applications will be considered there will be a limited number of scholarships available.

As an association we have been invited to send players to the GBTLL All Star game in Wasaga Beach on April the 5th.  The coaches were given the task to choose the representative for their teams.  This is not an easy task and many expressed how difficult it was to choose just one or two, the number was predetermined by the league. I am happy to list below who is attending on behalf of Coldwater and wish them well in a day of great fun that they will remember for years to come.
