Coldwater Wildcats U18 Team 2 showcased exceptional effort ending their season as Champions in the GBTLL Group C series beating Georgian Bay Midland Centennials Team 2!The Wildcats dominated the series, wrapping it up with 2 straight wins.
Saturday’s game in Midland demonstrated Team 2’s dominance; a convincing 5-0 shutout win back-stopped by a stellar performance by goalie Andrew Cleaveley, with the game winning goal scored by Brady Sevelka, a ‘shorty’ scored by Daniel St. Germaine, plus one by Connor Chapman, and two from Quinn Bacchus.
On Sunday’s game 2, the Wildcats came out flying and would not be denied their championship. They put in a very strong, balanced effort with another 5 goal performance, this time with 5 different scorers; Quinn Bacchus, Jaxon Angliss, Connor Chapman (game winner), Austin McLeod-Donaldson & John Abel, clinching the championship 5 to 2 on home ice in front of a large and vocal Coldwater crowd!
