Thanks so much to all that attended the AGM Tuesday night. It was great to see so many there and get some questions answered or concerns on the table for the next Executive meeting.
As discussed there are number of appointed positions that need to be filled for the coming 2025/26 season.

All of the below positions are appointed for one season by the current executive. All are expected to report any information, concerns or needs at our monthly executive meetings. All volunteers in the association are required to have a current VSC.
IP On Ice Coordinator: This person is ideally a coach of the younger age division (U5-U7) that acts as point of contact for the coaches, bench staff and parents of our youngest age group.
IP Off Ice Coordinator: This person is ideally a parent in the younger age division (U5-U7) that acts as a point of contact for information for the parents and assists the benches as needed with relay of information.
Human Resources: This person is responsible for ensuring that all poslice checks are completed in a timely manner for all volunteers in the association. They will work to make sure all have proper credentials.
Ice Scheduler: The ice scheduler will be responsible for master scheduling of practices and games for all teams in all divisions. He/she will work with the operations committee and LL convenor as well as keep chief referee, timekeepers and ways means up to date with any changes to current schedules.
Head Trainer: This person will be well versed in the proper protocal for all health and injury situations. He/She will act as a point of the reference for all trainers in the association to provide them necessary tools as well as information to best perform their duties.
Coach Mentor: This person will have coaching experience at various levels and will share their knowledge with all coaches and assistant coaches in the association. They will follow up with any questions or concerns offering our coaches with support.
Fundraising Director:The Fundraising Director will assist all teams with their sponsorship information as well as head the association fundraising. This individual is encouraged to assemble a committee to assist with the various fundraising events for the season.
Social Media Coordinator: This person will send out updated information to the membership and the community via the website, Facebook and other social media outlets.
