With goals of informing, educating, and engaging with youth about the history of the residential school system, promoting truth and reconciliation, and promoting physical and mental wellness of indigenous and non-indigenous youth through sport.
We
are very proud to be hosting an Orange Jersey Project for our U11 team 1 and
U13 team 2 in Coldwater. The players have
had access to the portal to learn all about the program prior to our special
celebration on
Tuesday March the 18th @7:00pm in Coldwater.
Please join us for a ceremonial puck drop and pre-game smudging with elder Rosanne Irving, on-ice events, information provided by Biminaawzogin RegionalWomen’s Circle (BRAWC), and more! Wear your orange shirt and join in this fantastic event.
