Tyke 2 "A" Champions at Stayner Tournament!
Submitted By jblunt on Sunday, January 5, 2014
It was a great day at the Stayner Tournament for our Tyke #2 team winning the "A" division championship!!!!

The day started off with an impressive 8-2 win over Stayner #1.
The second game was against Douro Dukes, the team fought hard but just couldn't get enough pucks past the pipes losing 6-5.
The tournament points system still put us first in our pool after two games.  The team then had to meet up with Stayner #2 in a do or die game, with the winners moving on. Our kids battled hard and had to come from behind to win 6-5 to steal the win putting the team in the "A" Championship against Barrie!!!
The kids got off to a great start in the championship game and found themselves with a 2-0 lead in the first minute!!! The entire team played a very smart game and made some amazing passes.  At the end of three periods we obtained Gold by winning 8-2!
The entire Coaching Staff is very proud of our kids, way to go Wildcats!!!!!!
