Stiff Competition at the Stayner Tournament!!!
The HydroOne Atom LL team earned one win and dropped two at the Stayner Tournament on Saturday December 7th and Sunday December 8th.
The team started off with an impressive 8-1 win over Collingwood in a game early Saturday morning. Point getters were Owen Blunt (5g,1a), Ethan Lededbrink (2g,1a), Noah Roughley (1g,1a), Ryleigh Blunt (3a), and Josh Gray (1a).
The Wildcats lost their second game of the tournament 5-4 to Paris on Sunday. Paris was able to find the net with 14 seconds left while on the power play to break the tie. Point getters in this one were Owen Blunt (2g,1a), Avery Lovering (1g), and Jared Anderson (1g).
The final game Sunday proved to be close one with the Wildcats losing 4-3 to Nobelking. Goals were scored by Jared Anderson (2g) and Ryleigh Blunt (1g).
Joshua Laughlin was stellar between the pipes in all three games!!!!
