Coldwater Minor Hockey Association

The GBTLL All Star game day is being held on April 13th in Wasaga Beach at their new rink.  Coldwater was fortunate this year to have 14 players invited to take part in the day's games and events Another reflection of the great season the the Wildcats had in all age groups. U18 team 3 ended their regular season in 5th for the East division which split them off to B division for the round robin mixing with 6 teams from Shelburne, Clearview, Wasaga, Collingwood and 2 Oro teams.  They wrapped up the 8 game series in 2nd place with 5 wins and a tie behind the Collingwood 3 team who was sitting with 8 wins. The finals started with a 6 to 3 loss in Collingwood, they just could not get around this team!! Back to Coldwater 2 days later the tides turned and the Cats pulled off a 6-2 win on the Friday night with a packed arena cheering them on.  Onto Saturday night back ...

U13 team 2 has had their work cut out for them.  They had some upheavals in bench staff early on and a hard season with little success points wise as they battled through the regular season. They were always present trying hard to improve their odds. The round robin split the U13 divisions of 23 teams into 4 groups of similar points to battle through for banners and medals.  Team 2 went through the round robin with 7 wins and one loss putting them to the D finals against Georgian Shores 1. Game 1 was a home win for the Wildcats 3-1 then onto Meaford for a hard fought loss of 4-3 which ...

All 3 of our U18 teams travelled to Simcoe ON for the 9th annual Marci Cook Memorial hockey tournament. A great small town tourney in memory of one of their wonderful hockey mom's who passed after a battle with breast cancer that raises money for charity in their community.  We have attended for many years in the U15 and U18 divisions. This year we were warmly welcomed as the games started on Friday the 15th.  There were 15 teams in the U18 division mainly from southern Ontario.  In the final game on Sunday team 2 and team 3 met up for the gold medal game. Hello Hockey Parents, Guardians, Players and Friends I would like to invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting being held on Tuesday April 9th at 7 PM upstairs at the Coldwater Arena. At this meeting we review the financial position of our association, review any changes to minor hockey as proposed by the OMHA and elect new members to our executive.  There is an online nomination form to nominate a person to one of the available positions under the Year End tab on the website.
