U18 team 3 ended their regular season in 5th for the East division which split them off to B division for the round robin mixing with 6 teams from Shelburne, Clearview, Wasaga, Collingwood and 2 Oro teams. They wrapped up the 8 game series in 2nd place with 5 wins and a tie behind the Collingwood 3 team who was sitting with 8 wins.
The finals started with a 6 to 3 loss in Collingwood, they just could not get around this team!! Back to Coldwater 2 days later the tides turned and the Cats pulled off a 6-2 win on the Friday night with a packed arena cheering them on. Onto Saturday night back in Blues territory.
The Wildcats were down by one after the first period. They geared up and came back with 2 unanswered goals in the second. The third period was their time to shine as they wrapped up the game with a 6-2 win!!
There were 8 different players with points that night attesting to the teamwork that carried them through along with a great job by Andrew in net. Great job to all and huge congrats!!
