Entire U18 Division Competes at Simcoe Tournament
All 3 of our U18 teams travelled to Simcoe ON for the 9th annual Marci Cook Memorial hockey tournament. A great small town tourney in memory of one of their wonderful hockey mom's who passed after a battle with breast cancer that raises money for charity in their community. We have attended for many years in the U15 and U18 divisions.
This year we were warmly welcomed as the games started on Friday the 15th. There were 15 teams in the U18 division mainly from southern Ontario.
In the final game on Sunday team 2 and team 3 met up for the gold medal game. It was the meeting of many friends for their last tournament in minor hockey. Team 2 came through with a win over team 3 but all in all it was the making of great memories!!
